Today, a shocking confession and emotions poured out after  actress Annabel Rama finally came out in public and admitted about what happened to her beloved husband.   It was a surprising confession from Annabel about what happened to actor Eddie Gutierrez.

It was painful news from his wife to announce to the public the passing of her beloved husband.

Eddie Gutierrez, Eduardo Picot Gutierrez in real life, is a well-known artist [music] and producer in the  Philippine entertainment industry with a long and successful career. Eddie was born on January 23, 1942. He started in the world of showbiz in the 1950s and has appeared in hundreds of films and television series in various genres such as drama, action, and comedy.

[music] He comes from a prominent family in Showbees.  His children, Richard Gutiérrez, Raymond Gutierrez, and Rufa Gutierrez, are also known as artists in the country. It can be recalled that he is currently abroad and in December 2025, Eddie underwent his first spinal procedure in Singapore.

But an MRI revealed a serious infection. In January 2026, he underwent a second medical procedure for a spine infection.  But unfortunately, Eddie could not handle the second surgery .  According to the source, the veteran actor has passed away. This is sad news in the world of showbiz and many will mourn the passing of one of the great actors in the showbiz industry.
To date, Eddie’s body has not been repatriated to the country. But according to news, Eddie will be brought back to the Philippines as soon as possible to give him a proper and peaceful burial.  This dino was one of the actor’s last purchases before he passed away.
