Even self-proclaimed royalty can get left off the guest list.
Flavor Flav has spent years proudly wearing the crown of “King Swiftie,” cheering on Taylor Swift from awards shows to the Eras Tour — but when it comes to her upcoming wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce, the legendary rapper admits he hasn’t received an invite.
Speaking exclusively at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Flav laughed off the snub with classic charm.
“No, I didn’t get an invite,” he said. “I didn’t expect one. But they know they’ve got my blessings. And if Taylor calls? King Swiftie is showing up.”
The 66-year-old hip-hop icon has long been one of Swift’s most surprising supporters, earning his nickname from fans after repeatedly praising her talent and even getting a shout-out during the Eras Tour. He’s performed her songs, defended her online, and proudly calls her “one of the most important artists of our time.”
Earlier this year, Flav even joked that he was getting ordained — just in case the superstar couple needed an emergency officiant.
“I want to be the one marrying them,” he once said. “That would be legendary.”
For now, though, the throne remains outside the palace gates. But one thing is certain: if an invitation ever lands in Flavor Flav’s mailbox, the wedding will instantly become the most unexpected crossover in pop-culture history.
